Since Oct 2002, we have traveled to pen shows
across the country with a portable digital camera lab in tow. Currently,
1500+ vintage fountain pens have been photographed, at the "printing standard"
of 300 dpi. Many are shown below, in reduced form. These are not art shots
(I cannot shoot pens like Bill Riepl), but in any given picture all pens
are proportional in size, allowing comparison amongst pens. Many of the
shots included illustrate a point of value (one hopes) for the reader.
